To philosophize while gazing through this fragment in time at the empty streets, to acknowledge the heartbeat and rhythm in urban design that may no longer be as relevant as it was yesteryear;
An existential awareness fills the air, as the city’s breath is quiet;
Inhaling deep the solitude of the city offers an insight to human value – venturing outside in masks, walking, greeting, empathizing, nodding at those outside their vehicles and watching animals wander about the streets from a nearby woods;
One wonders if the city will be further reshaped for those on foot, bicycle and public transportation with cars parked on the perimeters;
Still, how close…yet how far will humans remain from each other? What will a revived city teach us?
