red camellia in repose

by Keiko Shibata

the tide washes over time

an offering is extended

a small cup of green tea

delicate harmony measured

consciousness is longing,

soft breeze awakens

chimes in garden

with each breath

whispers transmute,

a red camellia lies on bed

waiting in repose.
