A raging rain
wetness filled with sadness
in the city
drenches my flesh and spirit
invisible arms around my breasts tighten their grip
afraid
the unexplainable appears
a soothing sensation
like showers of sunlight through a break in the clouds
an invitation
witness to the clear crispness of your smile
do I trust you?
I wonder
dancing in the studio of my mind
a knowing glance
over the shoulder
you reach out to me
an aliveness beckons
and I follow the ache in my heart,
my hunger and thirst
together
we follow each other
on a train
does it matter where?
