Love is a word that’s so hard to describe,

We seem to “fall in” when we haven’t even tried.

Amongst all the wonderful and heavenly days,

we must also endure the most painful of ways.

 In life there’s one thing we must always remember,

That love sometimes lasts as the days in September.

We love and we lose

the days pass us by;

as quick as we laugh, is as quick as we cry.

They say that it’s better to have loved and have lost;

than to never have known of the feelings or cost.

But the love that I have for you in my heart,

shall remain there forever,

be us near or apart.

For you’ve shown me a way to climb

one of life’s ladders

That’s to be able to LOVE

and be LOVED is what matters…
